Day One Arrive Christchurch and check-in to your central city hotel. Remainder of day / evening at leisure.

Day Two Spend your day getting close to nature. Travel by road enjoying the rural pastoral scenes of North Canterbury, to Kaikoura where mountains meet sea. Kaikoura is world renowned for the variety of marine mammals which can be seen, not least of all the giant sperm whales and the acrobatic Dusky Dolphins. On arrival in Kaikoura you will join the International Tourism Award Winning Whale Watching with Whale Watch Kaikoura, from the boat you will have the opportunity to see and photograph the giant sperm whales and a host of other marine life, including dolphins, the New Zealand Fur Seal and occasionally other whale species which migrate through the waters off Kaikoura. After your Whale Watch Tour enjoy a café lunch in the heart of the Kaikoura Township. Following lunch a visit a to New Zealand Fur Seal colony. This stop will provide you with some magnificent photo opportunities of these splendid creatures which were virtually extinct less than 100 years ago. On your return to Christchurch a stop will be made at a vineyard where a wine tasting has been arranged for your pleasure, at a winery in the Waipara Region of Canterbury, renown for some of its great wines.

Day Three Morning at leisure. At a time arranged you will be collected from your Christchurch accommodation and transferred to the Christchurch International airport for your departing flight. On the drop-off at the airport your two-day tour will conclude.
