Day One: Auckland – Waitomo Caves – Rotorua
Travelling by road from Auckland to Rotorua via the Waitomo Glowworm caves, a guided tour of the caves including a by boat through the glowworm grotto is included. The tour then proceeds to Rotorua arriving mid afternoon. On arrival you will be transferred to your evenings accommodation.

Day Two: Rotorua
An entire day in this geothermal wonderland. Join a half day sightseeing tour of Rotorua, the tour includes admission to Te Puia, (an insight into Maori culture) Rotorua’s famous geothermal activity with a tour of Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley, Rainbow Springs Nature Park, with the famous kiwi and a the Agrodome, a working farm, watch a sheep shearing display and see sheep dog trials. Tour concludes early afternoon with the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day Three: Rotorua – Wellington
Travel from Rotorua to Wellington by road, via Lake Taupo, the central plateau (home to several active volcanoes), Palmerston North and the Kapiti Coast arriving in Wellington late afternoon at which time you will be transferred to you central city accommodation, at which time your tour will conclude.

- Should you require one or more nights accommodation in Auckland prior to the commencement of this tour this is available on request.
- Should you require an airport transfer from Auckland International Airport to your Auckland accommodation this is also available on request.
- The coaching on Day Three from Rotorua to Wellington is by Intercity Coach which will not include commentary. This is the only option available for this leg of the tour by which we can guarantee daily departure throughout the year.
- At the time of booking your credit card information will be securely sent via the payment process. Your credit card will not be charged until the date of travel.
- As from the 1st October 2019 all visitors regardless of passports, except Australian, will require a tourism visa (NZeTA) which can be obtained online https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/about-visa/nzeta very straight forward process, the online fee is NZ$12.00 per person.
Once you obtain the visa’s they are valid for 2 years and can be used more than once. They work exactly the same way as a US ESTA. The NZeTA is not avaioable to all nationalities, the site provides a list of elligible countries.
