A day tour from Wellington to Palliser Bay located along ruggerd coastline east of Wellington. You will explore the isolated and beautiful region at the southern tip of the North Island of New Zealand and home to the largest New Zealand Fur Seal colony in the North Island. The tour also includes a light lunch at the historic Lake Ferry Hotel and includes a visit to Martinborough a beautiful township in the heart of the Wairarapa. The tour also includes a winery visit and wine tasting.

A great opportunity to get off the beaten track and spend the day out of the city whilst relaxing, exploring and enjoying the endless rural and coastal views that the coastal region north-east of Wellington offers. Departing Wellington by road the tour travels to the rugged isolated coastline on the South East tip of the North Island of New Zealand. The tour visits Lake Ferry and the fishing village of Ngawi with its stunning views of the rugged Palliser Bay and its coastline, this is a destination not to be missed when visiting the Wellington Region. On the tour you will enjoy a close encounter with the largest New Zealand fur seal colony in the North Island.
