  • Did this trip a few days ago and we weren't disappointed. The skipper was very knowledgable and handled the boat well to get us close to the wildlife. The other crew member also did an excellent job of wandering around the deck making pointing out where we should be looking. We saw 3 species of Albatross, 3 species of Shags, terns and of most people favourite, the Fur Seals. Highly recommended for anyone with a passing interest in wildlife

  • a fabulous way to explore the Otago peninsula & view wildlife, including around Tairoa heads , spotting the world's only albatross colony, sealion , & Furseals. Also spotting soaring albatross with 3 meter wing span out at sea with Penguins, dolphins, petrels and other bird species. A must do tour when visiting Dunedin.

  • Wonderful trip. Skipper gives a great commentary and makes the whole journey very interesting. The boat is big enough to have many viewing areas and for colder trips, the comfortable cabin keeps it cosy. Recommended way to view Dunedin and the wildlife from a different angle. Fascinating nesting sites of albatross and shags.Baby seal colonies, old lava flows and history keep surprising you along the way.
