Client Reviews

  • We visited Milford Sound in December 2014 and took the short Scenic Cruise with the Real Journeys, It was worth it - cliffs, waterfalls (when it does not rain you will probably only see two of them) and rain forests, pretty impressing. We even saw a small colony of New Zealands seals. Nice check-in building, older but spacious and well maintained vessel, coffee and tea on boat available free, information about what can be seen provided all the cruise long. You can either stay in the cabin deck, where seats are available, but there you will not enjoy the cruise completely, or you can go to the upper deck with no seats, but perfect views.

When I think of our amazing trip to New Zealand, it is difficult to pick just one highlight, but if we had to this would definitely be it. Milford Sound is just too stunning for words.

  • "Great Cruise"
Sailed into Milford in low cloud and heavy rain, however, by the time we did the cruise the weather had cleared and the scenery was absolutely amazing, especially the waterfalls! If you visit New Zealand this really is something you should do, you will not be disappointed.
