Travelling by coach south from Auckland over the Bombay Hills to the farmland of the Waikato region. On your arrival at ‘Midddle Earth’ and the Shires Rest your guide will recount the fascinating details of how the magical Hobbiton set was created. The 44 Hobbit holes, Green Dragon Inn, the Mill, Bilbo’s home, the Party Tree and other structures created for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Hobbit films.
