Combine a Auckland City Highlights sightseeing tour and a relaxing picturesque Waiheke Island wine tour, sampling some world-class wines, whilst experiencing some magnificent views back across the harbor of Auckland city.

Start your day in Auckland experiencing the “City of Sails”  The trendy inner suburbs of Auckland, over the Harbour Bridge and back through the vibrant Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter, our newest waterfront area and urban community.  Feel the bustling CBD area of Queen Street, the hub of the city centre and shopping precinct.  Stop at the Auckland Museum – Tamaki Paenga Hira, home to a huge collection of Maori and Polynesian Taonga (treasures).  A photo stop may be made at Bastion Point which overlooks the sparkling waters of Auckland (time permitting), also an important piece of land to the Ngati Whatua iwi (tribe).

Following your morning sightseeing tour of Auckland and a break for lunch (at own expense) you will join a Fullers Ferry to cruise the Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. On arriving on Waiheke Island you will be meet by your local island guide for a tour visiting three of the islands vineyards, Mudbrick Vineyard, The Goldie Room and Te Whau Vineyard for tastings of some premium New Zealand wines in settings offering magnificent views of the Hauraki Gulf and the Coromandel Peninsula. You will return to Auckland by ferry arriving at 5.30 pm, where your tour concludes.

    We had a comprehensive tour of Auckland in the morning and then travelled by ferry to Waiheke Island and visited some nice wineries. Wonderful views of the harbor and city, we had an awesome day.
